New Hampshire Deer Take as of 11/29/20 is 12,275 (VIDEO)

Sunday 11/29/2020

New Hampshire Fish and Game Department deer project leader Dan Bergeron reports 12,275 deer taken so far this season. This is a 9 percent increase over last year's 11,289 at this same date. This is the highest take to date in the last 9 years. No doubt this year's take will be in the top five ever taken. The unseasonably warm fall with NO snow anywhere in New Hampshire right now has certainly dampened this year's take. New Hampshire's deer season closes on different date depending where you are hunting. For most of the state the regular deer season will end on December 6th I believe. Always check the NH Fish and Game web site to be certain.
